Grand Master

Grand Master began his training in 1961 under the Moo Duk Kwan System. He earned his 1st Degree Black Belt in 1962.

As a 6th Degree he became the Official Instructor of the Korean Army for 2 years. In 1979 Grand Master was invited by the Prime Minister of Peru to teach and train more than 5000 officers and special forces of the Peruvian Military.

At this time he was also named the National Technical Director and Chief Instructor of the Peruvian Taekwondo Federation.

In 1981 he was the Peruvian National Coach for the 5th World Taekwondo Championships. Grand Master also coached for the 8th World Championships

in Barcelona Spain as a 7th degree.

Receiving honors from Peru's Chief Commander of the Ministry of War and

the Ministry of Defense.

In the 1990's Grand Master received various letters of appreciation and honor from Dr. Un Yong Kim, then President of Kikkiwon and also from the International Olympic Committee for his contributions and dedication to the sport of Taekwondo.Today as a 9th Degree Black Belt and President of USAT MAC Florida. Grand Master leads two Academies in Miami Lakes & Weston Florida.He has hopes to expand his Taekwondo philosophy to aspiring athletes and future Masters. Grand Master currently provides consulting for Olympic directors, Olympic coaches and athletes as well as seminars both locally and internationally. Most recently Grand Master was asked to teach the Peruvian Special Forces Commando Unit modern forms of hand to hand combat.

 

 

9th  Degree  Black  Belt

Grand Master EUI-HWANG CHUNG, BORN IN South Korea, holder of an 9th Degree Dan Black Belt has dedicated his life to the art of Tae Kwon Do. His is one of the founders of Moon Moo Kwan, he has received the highest recognitions and diplomas for achievements contributions and development of the martial arts in this country as well as in the international arena. The following is a list in chronological order of the highlights in his outstanding career.

 

1961 Studies the Moo Duk Kwan System.

 

1962 Earns 1st Degree Black Belt.

 

1963 Is certified as Kyosah (Assistant Instructor) at the Moo Duk Kwan in Su Won City, South Korea.

 

1963-1970 Is Promoted to the official title of Sabum (Master Instructor) and served in Mun Moon Kwan. Seoul.

 

1975 Is certified 6th degree Black Belt by the Tae Kwon Do Federation of Korea. Graduates in October as Master

          from the International Instructor Course, sponsored by the World Tae Kwon Do Federation.

 

1976-1978 Instructs the Korean Army in the art of the Tae Kwon Do. Is certified as referee by the Tae Kwon Do Federation.

 

1979-1988 The Prime Minister of the Peruvian government extends him an invitation to teach and train more than 5000 officers and

                     especial forces in the Peruvian Army. Is nominated National Technical Director and Chief Instructor of the Peruvian

                     Tae Kwon Do Federation.

 

1981 5th World Championship. Guayaquil, Ecuador: National Coach of the Peruvian Team. Part the select group nominated

          by Jung Ang II Bo Newspaper for their outstanding work done in the exterior.

 

1982 Receives certificate of International referee from the World Tae Kwon Do Federation.

 

1985 Receive letter of appreciation from the president of the World Tae Kwon Do Federation for His outstanding contribution

          to the development of Tae Kwon Do. Receives the World Tae Kwon Do Award.

          Citation to Become a Member of the International Olympic Committee (I.O.C.) during the 24th Olympiad in Seoul, Korea.

          Receives a Diploma of Honor from the Peruvian Ministry of Defense.

 

1986 Receives Certificate of Achievement from the Panamerican Tae Kwon Do Union. Receives Diploma of Honor

          from the Peruvian Military Sport Federation. Diploma from the Chief Commander of the Ministry of war of Peru.

 

1987 Is certified 7th Degree Black Belt by the World Tae Kwon Do Federation. Peruvian Team Coach for the 8th TKD Championship.          

          Barcelona, Spain. Receives Honor Diploma in Mexico, at the Olympic Festival, for collaboration and Participation.

 

1988 Receives letter of Commendation by President of Kukkiwon, Un Yong Kim. Promotes and becomes Coordinator

          of the Panamerican Championship in Lima, Peru.

 

1989 Moves with his family to the United States of America in September.

 

1990 Opens Young Tae Kwon Do Center in Hialeah, Florida. Receives letter of Appreciation for his outstanding contribution and

          development of Tae Kwon Do from the U.S.A TKD Federation. 

 

1992 Is certified 8th Degree Black Belt by Chang Moo Kwan. Awarded letter of Commendation for for his unlimited efforts and

          self sacrifice in bringing out the development and popularization of TKD in the Panamerican Region by President Kukkiwon,

          Un Yong Kim.

 

1993 Presented with Letter of Appreciation for his dedicated service and contribution to the Development of Tae Kwon Do

          as a world sport By President Kukkiwon, Un Yong Kim.

 

1994 Moves Eui-Hwang Chung Tae Kwon Do Center to Miami Gardens. Receives letter of Commendation by President Kukkiwon,

          Un Yong Kim.
